Why We Built This Site
Texas provides public access to many court records, but Upshur County does not have one search that contains every court level. The 115th District Court record belongs with the District Clerk. County Court and probate records belong with the County Clerk, whose judicial search route changes at March 1, 2025. Four justice courts and the municipal courts in Gilmer, Gladewater, Big Sandy, Ore City, and East Mountain keep their own lower-court dockets. re:SearchTX adds a statewide layer without replacing those local custodians.
Bringing the verified search paths, clerk roles, request methods, and access cautions into one reference makes it easier to start with the right court. It also preserves the key distinction between a docket entry and the document behind it.
